Volunteering At Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children Inside Post

"We believe in being present and doing what we can to help deliver hope and comfort."
Nancy Gorski, President and CEO

This past holiday season, that quote rung loud within Strategic Mobility Group. SMG3's "Be The Good" mantra is paramount 24 hours a day, 365 days out of the year. Just as most experience the "giving spirit" in their communities during the holiday season, SMG3 does so in an amplified state.

Charitable initiatives fueled by Being The Good is generally most easily seen in helping immediate communities. However, it is certainly not limited to that, and SMG3 wanted to partake in an initiative that would assist those outside of familiar locations.

Incorporating a team building exercise into assisting a beneficial philanthropic organization, Strategic Mobility Group spent time volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. There, SMG3 helped pack meals that would get shipped worldwide to malnourished children in need. The components of these meals are designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition in children, which is commonplace in poverty-stricken communities.

These packed meals traveled around the globe to help children and their families have access to one of the most fundamental human rights- food. "Being The Good" can be carrying out acts in many forms, and this holiday season, doing an act of good meant helping provide food on the table to deliver hope and comfort to those who need it.
