Mike Van Dril, while relatively new to the AIDC (Auto Identification and Data Collection) industry, is a Barcoding & Mobile Computing Specialist. After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Economics, Mike joined Strategic Mobility Group (SMG3) in 2015. Since then, he has been building and implementing all-encompassing, custom mobile solutions that result in streamlined automated processes, a reduction in costs, and an increase in overall productivity for enterprises of all sizes.
With a background in the automotive industry, Mike has a deep understanding of the importance of inventory management and logistics processes as they can make or break an organization’s overall profitability. Providing his clients with the best possible service, Mike identifies the obstacles they are facing and then finds the root of the problem. Through working closely with his clients and recommending the correct hardware and software, Mike devises efficient and attainable plans to not only resolve these pain points but yield a significant ROI (Return on Investment).
